Resident Service Manager

Job Description:

Lux Living is looking for a Resident Service Manager (RSM) that creates the most luxurious experience possible the second a new resident walks through the door. This will be sort of a catch-all role but most importantly, you will be charge of ensuring that every resident has an amazing time living at one of our buildings.

You will be the first person that greets someone when they enter a building and you will help them with anything needed. The RSM will be the first person that a resident comes to when they have a question or need help with something. When a tour shows up unexpected and an agent is not around, you will do the showing and close the deal.

The RSM will be responsible for planning all resident events. It is important each building has at least 4 events a month and they should all be amazing. Creating event calendars, sending out email blasts and making sure attendance is high is important as we want to build as much community as possible. You must plan the events in advance and stay within each building’s monthly budget.

The RSM is sort of a catch-all role with assisting the property manager. You will work hand and hand with them to make sure the building is operating as efficiently as possible. Most importantly though, you will make sure that the renewal percentage is high. You should be creating such an awesome experience that residents are renewing their stay with us every year and never want to move out.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute all resident events
  • Perform all of the new resident move ins
  • Be the first point of contact for residents
  • Greet everyone when they walk through the door
  • Lease apartments (and get paid COMMISSION for each close!)
  • Assist the property manager with whatever is needed
  • Posting pictures and videos of Lux buildings on your social media
  • Making sure residents are completing surveys and that the property score are increasing over time
  • Increasing the renewal %
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Have a contagiously happy charisma that people enjoy being around
  • Good at event planning (being a good decorator is a plus)
  • Knowledgeable with social media (the better following you personally have, but not important)
  • Be somewhat tech savvy (be able to learn how to use Samsung smart fridge, set up Amazon Alexa, Lululemon Mirror, Tonal, Peloton, etc.)
  • Be ready to help with anything and provide as much value everyday
  • Be familiar with an apartment lease
  • Dress professionally everyday
  • Great communicator
  • Good organization skills
